Summary:

A pair of neutron stars which can be viewed through the wide rings of a brown dwarf star (DE 2), from a landable moon on a highly inclined orbit.

Description:

This system houses a rare sight: from the surface of a landable moon, one can view the jets of a neutron star and a white dwarf through the wide rings of a brown dwarf star (DE 2).

This sight isn't immediately obvious on arrival though: after entering the system, Commanders will have to travel over 200 kls to get to the area where the view is dominated by the three ringed brown dwarf stars.

When entering this system, Commanders will have to travel over 200 kls to get to the area where the sights are dominated by the three ringed dwarf stars. One of them is orbited by a landable moon with a high orbital inclination (67°) that's only 2 ls away from its parent. Thanks to this inclined orbit, the rings are easily visible from the moon's surface, and cover a large enough part of the sky that the jets of the two stellar remnants can be seen through the rings.

The moon's surface is safe to disembark on, and features varied terrain and geological activity. For those looking for mountain climbing opportunities, the stars in the sky above will provide some unforgettable views.
