Spasau FM-T d4-0 5 is paired with a Class III gas giant whose rings can be seen through the planet's thin Carbon Dioxide atmosphere. This terraforming candidate is a volcanically active High Metal Content world with its own ring. The atmosphere and the combination of rings makes for a scenic stop off for any CMDRs on a galactic circumnavigation.

The inner ring of the gas giant is a metallic ring containing a number of mining hotstops, two of which contain platinum, providing opportunities for deep space mining.

Both worlds have landable moons of their own. In addition, there is also a Water Giant in the system.

The system is named after Christiaan Huygens, a famous scientist from the 17th century, who was the first person to propose that Saturn was surrounded by a ring. Galileo Galilei was the first to observe them, but he thought what he saw where two large moons, or ellipses. Three decades later, Huygens built a better refractor and described Saturn's rings with it more accurately - as well as discovering Titan, the giant's largest moon.
