The DSSA Destiny Ascension is one of three Deep Space Support Array carriers located in the region of Ryker's Hope. Its purpose is to provide necessary services to all ships passing through the Scheau Blao and neighbouring sectors of the region. The systems with Neutron Stars are just around the corner, connecting explorers back to the Neutron Highway very easily and almost immediately after paying a visit.

The Fleet Carrier is positioned over one of the many moons orbiting a ringed Jovian (Class I) Gas Giant. The closest moon is just a couple hundred kilometers away from the ring's edge. It is a perfect place for such an outpost to exist and admire the beauty it surrounds it. The rings within the system contain a lot of hotspots for mining opportunities, if one wishes to engage in such activities. Scheau Blao TB-A c28-271 Planet 5 with its Pristine Icy Rings has a overlapping Tritium hotspot for all your Fleet Carrier fuel needs.

On a more historical note: the DSSA Destiny Ascension was originally stationed 9.5 ly away in the Scheau Blao TB-A c28-274 system for the first 2 years of its service, but requested a redeployment to a new location. After conducting detailed observation and analysis of nearby systems, a decision was made on September 29th 3308, that the DSSA Destiny Ascension was to be redeployed to Scheau Blao TB-A c28-271. The jump to the new system was executed on October 2nd 3308, and the DSSA service continued as usual.

The carrier has its own site for more information (prone to changes and it's up-to-date).

As of October 2nd 3308, there are no plans for suspending any DSSA activities aboard the Fleet Carrier whatsoever. The DSSA Destiny Ascension is here to stay for a very, very long time.

As of June 26th 3309, DSSA Destiny Ascension contains all services/modules except for Secure Trading/Warehouse.
