Description: Mahon Research Base was founded by the Turner Research Group. In July 3307 the Kumo Council, an independent pirate syndicate, established themselves in the system and after one year have taken overall control. The base has a wide range of facilities including outfitting and a well stocked bar, but no shipyard.
Luteolum Anemones can be found just outside the base, though there are far less now than there were when they were originally discovered.
The system is also home to Bark Mounds, which are now extremely challenging to locate. A small patch can be found at latitude 0.18598, longitude 65.58987 .
In the system the Gordon Class Bulk Cargo Ship FPR-42 can be found. It has been damaged in a pirate attack.
