The Vegnue AA-A h17 nebula, nicknamed the Tsukuyomi's Wings nebula after the Shinto moon god, is on the far side of the galactic core, close to the middle of the Izanami region. It is only 600 ly above the galactic plane, and star density around it is relatively high: this means that the nebula is easy to reach, and there are still undiscovered systems to be found around it.

This nebula houses a species of spaceborne life that cannot be found elsewhere: the large Parasol Molluscs. They can be found in Notable Stellar Phenomena signals in systems with certain star types within 100 ly of the nebula center,

These large molluscs can be found floating around in asteroid rings, belts, or gas clouds that have accumulated around Lagrange points. They are quite docile, and pose no threat to explorers.

Sometimes, they release a cyan-coloured gas cloud, with some lights sparkling in it as it dissipates:

Research limpets can attach to the molluscs to retrieve various samples from them. These can be sold as cargo at most starports, for a small amount of credits, but as of 3309. March, they have no use otherwise.
