SUMMARY | ||
→ | A ringed, dead ammonia world with Crystal Shard moons.
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
→ | This anomalous Ammonia World (B 3) presents a mystery. Spectacularly surrounded by two rings (one rocky, one icy), it registers and appears to be a normal Ammonia World. Only once you approach it, you notice straight away that something is off: This world has no atmosphere! One can only imagine the catastrophe that stripped the world of it's atmosphere perhaps also led to the creation of it's magnificent rings. The world has two moons, neither have atmospheres. However, the first registers biological signatures. Upon inspection, these turn out to be crystalline shards. The mineral predominantly presented is Ruthenium. Another moon in the same system (B 2 c) also registers similar signals. A brief fly through video is available here.
