SUMMARY
A brown Dwarf with Large rings with nice views of the galactic plain, this was taken in 2021 on Xbox Horizons on odyssey the system is present and the Vortex of Selene is still there.A brown Dwarf with large rings, 53 ls from the main star, with nice views of the galaxy from 1,500 ly above the plane.
DESCRIPTION

The Vortex of Selene is a captivating astronomical feature located in the Ploi Aeg GL-V c16-0 system, which I discovered on September 6th, 2021. Ploi Aeg GL-V c16-0 1, the brown dwarf at the heart of the Vortex, serves as the secondary star in this system, not the primary. Positioned quite high on the galactic plane, this system offers a unique perspective on the surrounding galactic structures.

Ploi Aeg GL-V c16-0 1 is a Class Y brown dwarf, known for being one of the coolest types of substellar objects with a surface temperature of just 485 K. This ancient dwarf, approximately 6.09 billion years old, is relatively small, with a mass of 0.0195 solar masses and a solar radius of 0.0774. Despite its size, it plays a significant role in the system’s dynamics.

Orbiting this brown dwarf are two prominent rings that make up the Vortex of Selene. The inner ring, rich in metals, has a mass exceeding 634 million megatonnes and spans from an inner radius of 88,849 km to an outer radius of 192,323 km. The outer ring is even more impressive, with a rocky composition and a staggering mass of over 10 billion megatonnes. This ring extends from 192,423 km to 695,494 km, forming a vast and complex structure.

The Vortex of Selene, with its metal-rich and rocky rings, is a testament to the dynamic processes at play in the Ploi Aeg GL-V c16-0 system. As the secondary star, Ploi Aeg GL-V c16-0 1 exerts a powerful gravitational influence on its surroundings, shaping the stunning and enigmatic rings that captures your attention, Positioned high on the galactic plane, the system offers a rare and striking view of the galaxy, making it a unique and significant discovery in the vast expanse of space.

Ps it's 53ls from its primary Star so it's rings are visible the second you enter the system.

This system houses a ringed brown dwarf star in a relatively close orbit of the main class K orange star of the system. The dwarf star's ring system is wide enough to be easily visible to pilots immediately upon arriving here.

The other bodies in the system are two worlds with extremely thick atmospheres, and a ringed gas giant that has some landable moons orbiting it.

Since this system is located 1,500 ly above the galactic plane, and outside the core, one can see nice views of the Milky Way from here.
