Ploi Aeg GL-V c16-0 1, the brown dwarf at the heart of the Vortex, serves as the secondary star in this system, not the primary. Ploi Aeg GL-V c16-0 1 is a Class Y brown dwarf, known for being one of the coolest types of substellar objects with a surface temperature of just 485 K.
