SUMMARY
A rare 3-ringed Gas Giant which can also be observed from a nearby atmospheric, landable moon.A rare Gas Giant with three ring systems, which can also be observed from a nearby atmospheric, landable moon.
DESCRIPTION

Body 2 isn't just any old Class III gas giant -- it is adorned with a rare 3 visible rings of varying density. All 3 rings are metal-rich.

However, the real attraction is the gas giant's first moon. Body 2 a is a landable icy body orbiting at a mere 3.7 ls range and at a most pleasing inclination of -54.450°. Additionally, the moon as a thin oxygen atmosphere which adds hues of blue and purple to the scene resulting in a breathtaking view of the gas giant and its rings from anywhere on its parent-facing surface. The moon also features a relatively valuable variety of bacteria - Volu.

Body 2 and its rings fill the sky

While Body 2's rings are not officially classified as "wide", when viewed from Body 2 a the rings fill the sky, having an overall angular diameter of 72.2°!

These rings are truly humbling to behold

If you are fortunate, you may also see Body 3 in view, a ringed Class II gas giant nearby, as Bodies 2 and 3 are in binary orbit with each other.

The system is located in the heart of the Guardian region near the Hen 2-333 / IC 4673 nebula and there are numerous Ancient ruins sites in the sector. Furthermore, you can find Brain Trees on other bodies in the system (bodies 1 a, b, c).

The second planet of this system isn't just any regular Class III Gas Giant: it is adorned with a rare three visible ring systems of varying densities. All of them are metal-rich.

The gas giant's first moon, body 2 a, is an icy moon that's landable. It has a close and highly inclined orbit (3.7 ls and -54.45°): these mean that the giant fills up much of the sky, and all its rings are easily visible too. In addition, the thin oxygen atmosphere of the moon adds hues of blue and purple to the sky, providing even more spectacular views from the surface than what would be seen from orbit.

The 2 a moon houses a relatively valuable species of Bacteria: Volu. Other bodies here house some other flora as well: as this system is part of the Guardian region around the IC 4673 nebula, Brain Trees can be found here. (On the 1 a, 1 b, 1 c moons.)
