SUMMARY
A close stellar binary consisting of a ringed neutron star and a red giant.
DESCRIPTION

Just north and upwards from Colonia is the Golden Cradle, a ringed neutron star and M type Giant orbiting a common barycentre in just under 70 days.

sysmap

In the grand scheme of the system, the two stars' barycentre orbits in a planetary configuration around three black holes. Also in the system is an uncommon blue water giant.

both

Approaching the binary, the ring is dwarfed by the size of the red giant, being bathed in a warm golden color. Normally the rings of stellar remnants are either bluish, or not lit at all.
