Summary: Albidum Chalice Pods drift among fields of Rubeum and Prasinum Ice Crystals, creating red and green light shows reminiscent of the ancient communication devices of Earth called the Semaphore. | |
Description: Multiple Notable Stellar Phenomena are present in this system, with one relatively close to the the F-class star, around Body AB 6, and two others about 86,000 light-seconds away, near Body C 2. The mix of Rubeum and Prasinium Ice Crystals close to a gas giant makes for pleasing visuals of colourful sparks dancing in space, with the stars shining in the background.
Albidum Chalice Pods are present in the Lagrange clouds. These seed pods owe their name to their resemblance to ship-sized goblets. They primarily drift through space but may use biological reaction thrusters to flee from ship headlights. Ships with Research Limpet Controllers can collect three kinds of tissue samples from these lifeforms. (Pod core tissue, pod dead tissue and pod surface tissue.)
