Description: Previously the largest landable body in the galaxy, Goliath has a staggering 24,404 km radius. This massive body is eclipsed only by Gigantor, which broke its seven-year long record. Goliath is a unique icy body, located within the Norma Arm, 1,800 ly above the galactic plane, with a radius of 24,404 km, and a surface gravity of 4.03 g. It also features a metallic ring, offering great views from the surface, and it presents a reasonable challenge for those who wish to attempt a landing. This planet also features quite a collection of surface features, such as icy patches, sharp peaks that can be as high as 2,500 m, and vast patches of impact craters scattered across the surface. | |
