SUMMARY | ||
→ | Frigid landable moon with two rings and a water-rich atmosphere.
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
→ | In ancient myth, Bifrost was the celestial bridge that connected the earthly world with the high Heavens of the Gods. It was a symbol for achievement and transition. This blue-white moon greets travellers with its thin, frigid atmosphere and crystal clear plateaus and mountains. Most outstanding, however, are the two majestic rings that clearly stand apart from each other and reach high in the sky, invoking the ancient myth of the Bifrost bridge. Bifrost is tidally-locked and since the star system is a quarternary system there are always two stars high in the sky along with the majestic Milky Way and a number of distant nebulae in the background, making this moon a spectacular location to take a walk and wonder in awe.
