Named for Commander Jellowiggler's daughter, Evelyn Faye Roy, who passed away in February of 2020, Evelyn's Light is a tourist beacon and a unique POI worthy of a stop in. When you drop into the system there is a beacon outside of a bright neutron star and when you listen to the beacon you hear the sound of her heart beating and receive a message from Evelyn herself in your ships inbox.
Frontier Developments chose this star at the request of Jellowiggler to put a memorial somewhere bright just like Evelyn was. The star was originally submitted to EDSM by Commander iskariotdk and renamed to Evelyn's Light by Frontier Developments in September of 2020. Noted author of several Elite books, Drew Wagar, also wrote an in universe story for Evelyn which can be listened to as an audiobook on YouTube. | → | Named for Commander Jellowiggler's daughter, Evelyn Faye Roy, passed away aged 11 after succumbing to cancer.
