SUMMARY | ||
A medium sized nebula with a distinct 'hollow' region several LYs across within it, where the gas and dust thin out. Hollow Veil contains several abandoned ancient Guardian Ruins & stellar phenomena. | → | A medium sized dark nebula which is mostly known for containing Guardian ruins, but it also hosts Notable Stellar Phenomena. |
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
Several of the embodied nearby systems are host to varieties of Notable Stellar Phenomena and have a number of moons containing inactive Guardian Ancient Ruins and species of brain trees. The ruins found in this nebula are evidence of a Guardian presence within this sector of space millions of years ago. New lighting has affected the visibility of the Hollow Veil nebula. Partial text credit to Whoamus | → | The Hollow Veil nebula is located on the Western end of the Norma Expanse region, rather close to the Sol - Sagittarius A* line. It's mostly notable for the Guardian ruins that have been found in the vicinity: see this entry. However, there is more to be found here: can be found in Notable Stellar Phenomena, Bark Mounds that are associated with nebulae, and the Brain Trees that are associated with the ruins.As such, this nebula is a good waypoint for any explorers heading to Sagittarius A*: with only a short detour, they can see not only Guardian ruins down on planets, but also some unique creatures (the Bell Molluscs) up in space. |
