SUMMARY | ||
An impressive wide ring orbited by highly inclined, landable moons, that makes for memorable views. | → | Located in Tenebrae, the last gas giant of this system has an unusually large ring surrounding which "slings" a ringed gas giant and its three moons creating memorable views. |
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
The sixth body in this system, Groa Eaeb KT-O d7-4 6, is a gas giant with a rare configuration of moons. First off, it has two shepherd moons, 6 a and 6 b, which orbit inside the icy ring - which is also an impressive 27 ls wide. The third moon, 6 c, is actually also a gas giant (class I), on a highly inclined orbit - and not just with rings of its own, but with three nested moons as well. View from the surface of body 6 c aBoth the shepherd moons and the three nested moons are landable. Their uncommon orbits and the impressive size of the parent gas giant's rings combine to offer some excellent views. | → |
