SUMMARY | ||
Two planets (gas giants) located in the system in the same quasi-stable orbit, following one another. | → | A pair of gas giants on trojan orbits, following one another. |
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
It was accidentally discovered that planet 4 and planet 5 (gas giants of class III and I) have the same quasi-stable orbit. The orbital period, eccentricity, inclination angle and semi major axis are completely identical. It is noteworthy that the gas giants are very different in mass. Planet 4 has a mass of 2898,8 Earth masses, planet 5 has 4,4 Earth masses. | → | Two gas giants in this system, planets 4 and 5, are a trojan pair, with a 60 degree difference. It is worth noting that the gas giants are very different in mass. Planet 4 has a mass of 2898.8 Earth Masses, planet 5 has 4.4 Earth Masses. Although the other planet may seem small in comparison, it is still a gas giant, and it has moons of its own as well. |
