Mammon Monitoring Facility is an Asteroid base in the IC 1287 Nebula, a small planetary nebula surrounding a B class star.

IC 1287 Nebula

The base is located in the rings of Mammon 2 a 3.33g high metal content world. All services except for ship outfitting and a shipyard are provided.

The system is controlled by a military dictatorship the Mammon Task Group with an Independent cooperative, the Seekers of Mammon also present.

The last serious challenge the Seekers of Mammon made to the dictatorship was in 3305 when their influence reached 42%

Given the isolation of the system it is unclear what exactly is being monitored.
