SUMMARY | ||
This system harbors Gigantor, the recently discovered largest landable planet (with a radius of 28,878KM) in the galaxy. It also features an atmospheric world relatively close to a ringed brown dwarf. | → | This system harbors Gigantor, the largest currently known landable planet (with a radius of 28,878 km) in the galaxy. DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
Gigantor - radius 28,878KM - Greae Hypa PH-C d1017 2 Beating the previous title contender, Goliath, by 4474 km, this large landable icy body also features slightly more gravity than its predecessor (Goliath's 4.03 G compared to Gigantor's 4.64 G). The planet is dominated by wide white hilly plains, with the ocassional continental sized orange and brown mountain ranges. The name of the entry comes as an elegy to how mighty and big the planet is, to the point that the entire system is a temple dedicated to it. The shrine - Wide Ring - Width: 2.06Ls / 616,170km - Greae Hypa PH-C d1017 6 A shrine to a gigantic god, this ringed brown dwarf features a landable thin sulfur dioxide atmosphere relatively close to its rings. Shrine's offering - Landable with atmosphere near ringed Brown Dwarf - 1 life and 3 geos signs -Greae Hypa PH-C d1017 6 a Silicate Geological Sites -24.0107 ~ -71.9047 This stunning view dominated by the parent star is an excellent stop by itself. Featuring heavy geological activity, Commanders can easily collect materials like Cadmium, Tellurium, Molybdenum, and the elusive Selenium on its surface. Old Offering - Wide Ring - Width: 1.45Ls / 434,720km- Greae Hypa PH-C d1017 7 Last but not the least, a wide ring gas giant can be found in the edge of the system. | → | Gigantor - radius 28,878 km - Greae Hypa PH-C d1017 2 Beating the previous record contender, Goliath, by 4,474 km, this large landable icy body also features slightly more gravity than its predecessor (Goliath's is 4.03 g, compared to Gigantor's 4.64 g).
