| DESCRIPTION | ||
| → | ||
This system boasts a total of 28 landable planets, but its main attraction is body 7F (0.29G). A ringed, atmospheric, landable icy world in orbit around a class II gas giant, it also has a 100% oxygen atmosphere. With a similar view to Aestheticum, the rings from itself, its parent gas giant in the distance and the pink haze caused by the atmosphere make a stunning view from the planet's surface. | → | This system boasts a total of 28 landable planets, but its main attraction is body 7 f. A ringed, atmospheric, landable icy world in orbit around a class II gas giant, that has an oxygen atmosphere.
The view from the surface is similar to Aestheticum: in the colorful sky above, both the rings of the parent gas giant and the moon's own rings are well visible, often creating beautiful views.
The sky looks even more exotic at sunset, when a bright pink line resulting from the oxygen atmosphere can be seen. Hence the name, Caelum Roseus, which is a rough Latin translation of "pink sky".
This system was discovered this during the Distant Worlds 3 expedition, in 3312. |
