SUMMARY | ||
Two planets in an extremely close binary orbit. Suggestive scenarios with exobiological and geological features. | → | Two planets in an extremely close binary orbit, almost touching. They orbit a brown dwarf and an F-type star. Suggestive scenarios with exobiological and geological features. |
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
On the way to Beagle Point, in an area of the galaxy rich in exobiologies, it's possible to stop and admire these two planets, so close they almost seem to collide. These are the moons 10C and 10B. It's possible to land on the second one and collect exobiologies, specifically Stratum cucumisis emerald and Bacterium cerbrus lime. There are also fumaroles, lava spout, and vents. The views are beautiful, and the proximity to a brown dwarf star at certain points in the orbit could allow for photos with two suns in the sky, beyond the enormous twin planet. | → | On the way to Beagle Point, in an area of the galaxy rich in exobiologies, it's possible to stop and admire these two planets, so close they almost seem to collide. They are just 11Mm apart. These are planets 10C and 10B. It's possible to land on the latter and collect exobiologies, particularly Stratum cucumisis emerald and Bacterium cerbrus lime. The surface also features fumaroles, lava flows, and vents, as well as volcanic areas typically containing sulfur, which explains the high mineral content in the atmosphere and soil. If you are lucky or patient enough to wait for both stars (an F-class and a brown dwarf) to rise, you will be able to admire views that justify a visit to this planet for some photography. |
