→ | The Hipparcos Catalog star system HIP 19187 acts as the headquarters and principal observatory for the Electro-Dynamic Astrometric (EDAstro) Scientific Society, which holds several patents on a unique quantum electrodynamic method of precisely measuring the positions and attributes of stellar objects across the galaxy. Founded in the early 3300s, the EDAstro society has promoted a variety of breakthroughs with regards to stellar cartography, earning it a position of respect among scientists and explorers alike. Located in close proximity to the Pleiades, HIP 19187 is a binary star system, with a separation of over half a million light seconds between the two stars, each with its own system of planets. EDAstro facilities are mostly located in the smaller planetary system, as it is closer to the arrival point. Currently the system hosts a scientific observatory outpost, with further facilities under construction and planning. | |
