SUMMARY | ||
A solitary thin neon-rich atmospheric body inside a planetary nebula. | → | A solitary thin neon-rich atmospheric body inside a planetary nebula. |
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
This planetary nebula hosts a single cold, icy world with a thin neon-rich atmosphere. There are no other celestial bodies or stars in the system, just this one planet and the black hole. The planet is on a highly inclined and elliptic orbit. It might have either originated from another solar system, having been ejected from there and later captured by the black hole, or it might have been nearly ejected from this system instead. The system was first discovered by CMDR Spacelok, recorded in the Catalogue of Galactic Nebulae by CMDR Mooing, and later nicknamed "Santa's Domain" by the entry's submitter, CMDR Mace Andarion. | → | This planetary nebula hosts a single cold, icy world with a thin neon-rich atmosphere.
