DESCRIPTION

Constructed in 3302 by the Alliance the base was to be used "as centre for scientific study, supporting our ongoing research into the organic structures and meta-alloys".

The base is named after one of the Alliance founders Mic Turner who disappeared in the Pleiades Nebula in 3252.

Body 4 has an orbiting Tourist Beacon announcing the location of the outpost.

Tourist Beacon

The body also has 14 Thargoid barnacle sites one of which is inside the base itself but inaccessible except by infiltrating remote cameras.

Barnacle Location

Barnacle

The body was once famous for the Bark Mounds that were once 1.7km from the edge of the base itself. But in April 3307 they mysteriously disappeared.

The Tourist beacon announcing the presence of bark mounds has been dumped on the other side of the planet but is still operational.

Canonn Interstellar Research have been leading a campaign to have Barnacles re-established in a reserve beside the base and given protected status.
