SUMMARY | ||
→ | A beautiful wide ring around this Class I encapsulates two shepherd moons.
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
→ | Two shepherd moons (B 2 a,b), like Pandora and Prometheus, protect and preserve the inner rings like shepherds guiding their flock. A third moon (B 2 c) dips below the rings providing an overview. None of the moons are landable. However, there are 4 tritium hotspots in the second icy ring with a standard density of 8.3 The Gas Giant lives 66 kls from the arrival point. Enya is a modern Celtic singer songwriter who took inspiration from the "shepherd moons" of Saturn to write a song of the same name.
