SUMMARY | ||
Only 84 kilometers from a moon's surface to its parent's rings. | → | Only 84 kilometers from a moon's surface to its parent's rings. |
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
The fifth body in the Droeth MA-A d83 system is a class I gas giant with five moons, the first of which is very close to the parent rings. The distance from the surface of the planet to the edge of the rings is only 84 kilometers. The moon has volcanism (Major Silicate Vapour Geysers) and gravity is only 0.09 g, so some Commanders have speculated that they might be able to reach the rings without their ship. However, no geysers have been found that would be strong enough to do that. | → | The fifth body in the Droeth MA-A d83 system is a class I gas giant with five moons, the first of which is very close to the parent rings.
