SUMMARY
This is the only known area in the galaxy containing Void Hearts, as of December 3305.
DESCRIPTION

This system was first discovered by CMDR Mist0 and was named The Brain Forest for the Brain Trees found on A 1 A. However, this system has since become far more famous for the Chryseum Void Hearts within the Notable Stellar Phenomena points of interest in the rings of Planet A 1.

Void Hearts such as these have, to date, been found in only this and two other systems: Shrogaae KK-A d1791 and Shrogaae KK-A d2672.

Octagonal Pods accompany the Void Hearts in this system. When struck by weapon fire, the pods will release a corrosive gas that will directly damage a ship's hull. The effects of the gas will dissipate after 15-30 seconds.

Both the Void Hearts and the Pods emit sounds when when in proximity. The pods emit metallic "pinging" noises, while the Void Hearts make sounds similar to creaking branches. The active hearts can also be heard making sounds that sound vaguely like whispers.
