SUMMARY | ||
A moon whose orbit takes it high above the ring of a gas giant. | → | A moon whose orbit takes it high above the ring of a gas giant. |
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
In Norma Arm, near the border of the Arcadian Stream, a star system of a class B and a class F star contains a helium-rich gas giant with a special moon. The moon B 5 a, which orbits the gas giant in just under a day, has an orbit with an inclination of 44 degrees. Since the moon also orbits quite close to the ring, this makes for fantastic sights when you land while the moon is above the ring. The gas giant together with the ring seems to fill the entire sky. | → | In Norma Arm, near the border of the Arcadian Stream, a star system of a class B and a class F star contains a helium-rich gas giant with a special moon.
