SUMMARY | ||
Four black holes, co-orbited by a white dwarf and a ringed neutron star, all in one system. | → | Four black holes, co-orbited by a white dwarf and a ringed neutron star, all in one system. |
DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
A beautiful system with four black holes as main stars, with a white dwarf and a neutron star co-orbiting them all. The neutron star is surrounded by two metal rings. The outer ring has a diameter of almost 3 million kilometres. The special thing about the ringed neutron star is the speed of the inner ring. It moves at a speed of approximately 1,100 km/s. A view of one of the black holes: A recording of the ring's fast movement is available here. | → | A beautiful system with four black holes as main stars, with a white dwarf and a neutron star co-orbiting them all.
