DESCRIPTION | ||
→ | ||
Located in the Traikeou KB-X b18-0 system, on the A 2 a icy moon, is a rare geological formation: towering walls, which reach 2 km in height, fully surround a larger area. Although it might look like a fortress from the distance, this site was not built by anyone, it is a natural formation - though how exactly it came to be remains a mystery. This place is of interest not just to geologists, or to explorers looking to marvel at its natural beauty, but also to people looking to stage races. The walls provide natural boundaries, making the site suitable for competitions using all sorts of vehicles. For SRVs in particular, CMDR Alec Turner mapped out a course for such races: However, the system is 8,150 ly away from Sol, so staging races here isn't nearly as convenient as it is near the bubble. Still, the system is near the Traikeou AA-A h2 nebula, not far from the Sol-Colonia route. Fleet carriers travel that way regularly, so Commanders could board one and disembark along the way, shortening the trip significantly. More information on the race circuit, including a video recording, can be found here.
